Why Therapy?
There are many reasons why you might pursue talking to a therapist. For some there may be a recognition that something is off in their life and they can’t quite put a finger on it, but know they want to feel better. For some, it is important to have a caring, listening ear as they confidentially share concerns or struggles. For others life has provided challenging circumstances and new skills are needed to help navigate those challenges.
Whatever your reasons are, you can share your story in a welcoming, empathic, safe and non-judgemental space.

The expectation that one will have positive experiences or that a potentially threatening negative situation will not materialize or will result in a favourable outcome. Can be viewed as a character strength, an emotion, a mechanism to facilitate coping, or a component of motivation that is critical to goal attainment; or an integrated combination of these features.

My practice is a virtual practice only. That means all sessions will occur online through a secure video chat platform. You will be sent a link before your session start time.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length.
For some couples sessions, it may be beneficial to book a longer session for 75 minutes.

60 minutes sessions are $130
75 minute sessions are $150

When we are new to working with each other, we will be talking about what you are facing that brought you to counselling. This phase may involve questions and assessments to get to know you and your challenges better. We will set goals together.
After that, each session will be led by conversation and discussion to address your concerns while including approaches and strategies that will help you move forward in your journey.
